The product is amazing. The best I have ever owned. The issue is they have been out of stock for over a year and I cannot get anyone to respond to customer service requests through emails through the web site. I find it hard to believe that there is no new inventory yet.

This is a straightforward, easy to use website with helpful real-time inventory. But the best part about Garmont is the fit of their shoes! Hands down the best shoes I've ever owned.

I bought some boots for the cold winter in Texas, they never arrived, they wrote to them and said that it was not their problem, the carrier is chosen by them if it is their problem, I do not buy more with them

Thank you for your review. We greatly apologize for any inconvenience this experience may have caused. As mentioned in previous direct emails with our customer service team, unfortunately once a package is marked as “Delivered” in the USPS system, the receiver must reach out to USPS directly if there is any claims or problems with the delivery. If the package is marked as “Delivered” but the package is not at the location, we highly recommend reaching out to the local Postal Office or USPS online as soon as possible so they can open a claim and be able to locate the package. We are unable to access the USPS system- their internal team is the only one who can check the order in their delivery system. We have tried to open claims in the past and have been told each time to have the receiver reach out directly to USPS. This is mainly due to information that will be needed which only the customer can provide since we do not have access to all the customers information. Once again, we greatly apologize for this and would be happy to provide any additional information that USPS may need to open and investigate a claim. If the package is determined as lost by USPS, we will be glad to send a replacement order right away. Thank you!

I bought the limited addition dragons tail in a size 11. I’ve been a size 11 my entire adult life. Right shoe felt ok, the left was very tight in the toe box. I messaged them and Jacqueline, without hesitation set up a new order with a US size 11.5 and shipped it immediately. They fit great and I’ll have just enough space for a good wool sock. If you’re buying… maybe try them on in the store or consider a 1/2 size up. 5 star service! Thanks again Jacqueline and Garmont NA!

Terrific three season boot for the Adirondacks. Put in Superfeet carbon insoles and these boots make you want to keep moving. Darn Tough full cushion hiking socks with liners and no hot spots just comfy. Really love these.

Dear Folks at Garmont, Let me say that I have always loved your shoes. I purchased my first pair around 1999, and I have owned several pairs. I am on my 3rd pair of DragonTails and they are my go-to shoe for hiking, yardwork, and even going to the office. I have never purchased a pair directly from Garmont, but this summer I decided to check out Garmont directly and see what Garmont had to offer for my fall attire. I quickly found a nice pair of “limited edition DragonTails” that looked like they would fit my needs, and I purchased them in a size 10.5 and about a week later and $127 with shipping, they were at my house. They are too small. I initiated an “exchange” only to discover that Garmont does not actually do exchanges. Huh? The wording on the Garmont website is also quite mis-leading with language such as “to start a return/exchange……” There are no exchanges at all. Garmont allows returns, but not exchanges. I spoke with a very kind customer service representative that was helpful, but also bound by your poor business practice of not allowing an exchange. An exchange is not sending back my shoes, paying for the shipping of my shoes to you, providing you with a tracking number, while not being reimbursed for the initial shipping I paid for the shoes that are too small, and then me buying a new pair and paying for another round of shipping to you, Garmont! This is NOT an exchange. OUTRAGEOUS. Let’s just say that my first and only experience buying shoes from you has been awful. Here’s an idea- allow an exchange by allowing the customer to initiate an exchange, get a new pair for the same cost as the previously purchased pair, and if the customer doesn’t ship them back, you charge them! (you are probably already aware of this simple customer friendly practice) Sheesh

Customer service person was excellent. I'm still waiting for my return refund after it being delivered to you 10 days ago, that's pretty long. You should rework your return policy with some type of discount if a item is purchased after (X) days of returning an item. I paid $18 to return my shoes that didn't fit. That's pretty expensive to try on a pair of shoes when other retailers offer free returns

Garmonts are the hands down favorite shoe in its class for me and my son. The price points seem a little high and the toes too tight for my foot, which I have corrected by adjusting the laces.
