Great product. I ordered Mens Dragon Tail size 10. This is my 3rd pair of Garmont shoes, and they seem to be a good fit. I had trouble checking out, I tried to use a coupon from Garmont that didn't work. Normally I would have dropped the transaction when I see this behavior, but I needed the shoes, so minus one star.

The return process is much too slow. I am still waiting for my refund. I left two email messages about my refund and haven't heard from Garmont.

Customer service was responsive to questions. I have been devotes to Garmont hiking shoes, but the ones I had in the past are no longer made, and the replacements did not provide what I wanted. I wish that Garmont sold the hiking shoes in some retail stores so I could try them first without paying for shipping two ways when I do not want to keep the shoes I order. I'll change my hiking shoe brand now after many years as a solid customer.

From an overall standpoint, Garmont is my favorite shoe brand for all my everyday use and my all-day, all-terrain travel and easy hiking shoe. My only negative is that for my feet, the toe-box is a little too tight on some models, requiring the need to go to a local shoe store to try to stretch the toe-box larger. Suggestion: Waterproof shoes tend to be hotter to wear than non-waterproof shoes, so if you really don't need waterproof shoes, don't buy them just in case it rains. It is, of course, a good idea to have waterproof shoes available when you know you will be walking or hiking in wet conditions.

Shopping on the Garmin site is easy. I got my first pair of Garmont boots back in November last year and they have been nothing short of fantastic! They are incredibly comfortable, running a half size smaller for me than other boots and I went for the wide fit. They have been great for rucks, have really nice traction and the only point of concern may eventually be how long the tread lasts - it does seem to wear faster than my other boots, but that was noticeable after about 75 miles in them. However they are probably the most comfortable boots I have worn especially when active outdoors and on terrain, not just daily around the base.

I recently bought a pair of hiking shoes directly from Garmont (online). The service was excellent, from order acknowledgment to shipping updates and prompt delivery. The shoes are outstanding--excepting only that they were made in China. I have been fully satisfied with every other pair of Garmont shoes/boots I've purchased; they are incredible in terms of fit & performance. None of my other Garmont shoes were made in China, and I find the fact that my latest purchase was Chinese made to be disturbing. LOVE the shoes, but PLEASE MAKE YOUR PRODUCTS ANYWHERE BUT COMMUNIST COUNTRIES!!

Shipping was right on time and I love Garmont because they sell 13.5 mens shoes and the shoes fit well and are strong and long lasting. I am 260 lbs (120kg) and I love outdoor activities and Garmont makes shoes that are just right for me.

I own several garmont boots and shoes. They have an unparalleled fit and comfort for my foot. They are very durable while I also own La Sortiva and Asolo footwear. The fit and comfort of Garmont is the best for me. I have a medium width foot at the arch, a slightly narrower heel. US size 12. I feel like there is ample toe room but the perfect snugness in the arch and heel to give me confidence when climbing, scrambling or on via ferrata.

This is my 3rd pair of the Gamont Dragontail. This latest version seems even more beefy / sturdy with a little more toe and forefoot room. I have a medium to wide forefoot with a high arch, and they feel roomy. There is ample ability though to cinch them tight when needed. The new Michelin rubber is sticky and they should make a great scrambling shoe. Good job Garmont!
