I had done an ultra cycle on the already very good standard saddle from the bike manufacturer. I had some sores after, I’d expected that to happen. I spend my last penny’s on the Brooks before heading for another adventure cycle. The difference is like night and day! Once I have enough cash again I will get a second one for my other bike. I have three more bikes that are waiting for a brooks …

The seat is comfortable and arrived quickly after ordering. Before the first ride it was wiped with a dry cloth but did leave white chalky stains over black trousers. Not sure why? Has been fine since . Thanks

I was blown away by how comfortable this saddle is. I wasn't expecting it to make as big a difference as it did. The only downside is, I wish it was compatible with micro-adjust seatposts; I had to replace my seatpost to use this saddle.

This is my second B17 Champion Special, and seventh Brooks saddle that I've owned. I've tried many different saddles in my quest to find the ultimate touring and bikepacking saddle, but I always go back to the B17. Once it's broken in the comfort and durability is like nothing else. There is a weight penalty for all that leather and metal, but the trade-off in all day comfort makes it worth the extra grams.

Bought the saddle for my vintage cycle have only ridden short distances due to recovering from fractured ankle seems ok so far, I am impressed with the quality of the leather and hope for many years riding with it
